About the directory

A directory you can check.

Event Expo is a human-verified index of technical events across the country. It exists so you can decide whether a room is worth travelling for without opening ten tabs and guessing which date is current.

The standard

What verification actually means

It means the details matched the organizer's official source when we checked. It is not an endorsement of the event, and it is not a guarantee that nothing will change afterwards.

Always confirm on the official page before paying for travel or a ticket.

What we do not do

  • Paid placement, sponsored rankings, or affiliate links
  • Events without an official source or registration page
  • Recurring filler with no confirmed dates
  • Listings that hide their city, eligibility, or cost

    Start at the source

    We only list events with an official organizer page or registration link. Reposts, screenshots, and undated social posts are not enough.

    Check the specifics

    Dates, timezone, venue, eligibility, cost, and registration state are checked against that source. Missing details are marked unknown, not guessed.

    Publish with a verification date

    Every live listing shows when it was last checked. We verify each listing at its official source when we gather it, then recheck it regularly and whenever an organizer reports a change.

    Keep the record

    Cancelled and ended events stay online with a clear notice. Duplicate listings are merged into one canonical page so old links keep working.

Corrections

When we get it wrong, tell us.

Dates move. Venues change. Registration closes early. If something on a listing is wrong, send the correction with the official source and we will update the record. Corrections are reviewed by a human, not applied automatically.

Who can submit

Organizers and attendees alike. You do not need an account, and submitting does not guarantee publication.

Independence

The directory is community-sustained. There is no paid placement, and event organizers cannot edit live listings directly.

Every link leaves

Registration always happens on the organizer's site. We never handle tickets or payments.

Merged, not deleted

Duplicate listings redirect to one canonical page, so shared links keep working.
