BIOS V2 is CSED's flagship hackathon at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, run with the IEEE Student Chapter. The 48-hour event brings 300 shortlisted builders in 60 teams to Patiala, with a separate SEED track for school students in grades 9 to 12.
The hackathon runs from 30 October to 1 November 2026 and is free. College teams must have exactly four members. The official page lists a prize pool of more than ₹2.45 crore (US$260,000+) across cash, credits, tools, and perks. Applications closed on 22 October.
