Break a Model, Then Fix It is a hands-on Rootconf workshop on running open models on hardware you already own. It covers quantisation from first principles, how to read a weight distribution, the three most common failure modes, and how to build an evaluation that catches a model which has quietly stopped working. Participants work in a free-tier Google Colab notebook.
The workshop runs online on 15 November 2026 from 10:30 to 15:00 IST. Registration is restricted to members, sales had closed at verification time, and the official page does not publish a ticket price.
